Theme: Caring for the Land
Join us for a day of environmental stewardship! Learn how to protect and care for the land by practicing - Leave No Trace- principals, cleaning up nature trails, getting ready to plant, and building wildlife habitats. You’ll discover how small actions can make a big difference in keeping our planet healthy and beautiful!
Daily Schedule:
9:00- Drop off at OCG
9:15- Free Play/Morning Circle
10:00- Snack
10:15- Depart on adventure
11:30- Lunch
11:45- Sit spots/Quiet activities
12:15- Moving minds and bodies
12:30- Continue on our adventure
1:30- Play a group game intune with the theme
2:00- Head back to the Red Roof Shelter to prepare for pick up
2:30- Closing Circle/Fire
3:00- Pick up
*Please make sure your kiddo is dressed in waterproof warm layers from head to toe with extra socks! They will also need (2) snacks, lunch and water. Please let us know if you need any gear and we may be able to help*
Cancellation Policy: MALT programs operate outdoors in all seasons. We may cancel a day of programming in cases of inclement weather (ex: thunderstorms, heavy rain, snow that makes it unsafe to travel, freezing temps).
We will do our best to give at least 24 hours' notice, but due to the unpredictable nature of the weather, notice may come as late as the morning of the program.
Reimbursement is not given for cancellations due to weather or staff illness.
