This school year, MALT is excited to host half-day programming!
Each session will bring some of our favorite camp themes to life, giving kids the chance to experience the magic of camp during the school year. When the weather is on our side, we’ll head out for big adventures—walking about 20 minutes to explore Chipman Hill or Battell Woods. Please keep an eye out for updates, as pick-up locations may vary depending on the day’s conditions. We will send a weather and pick up location update before the program starts.
11/5/25 – Forest Fairies & Spirits
Step into the magic of the woods! We’ll explore the hidden wonders of nature, connect with the earth in playful ways, and listen for the stories the forest has to tell.
12/10/25 – Treasure Hunters
Grab your explorer’s spirit! Kids will follow clues, read maps, and uncover hidden treasures while learning about the natural gems all around us.
2/4/26 – Winter Wildlife Wonders
Discover how animals survive and thrive in the winter! Through games, exploration, and tracking, kids will learn the secrets of wildlife in the snowy season.
3/4/26 – Animal Exploration
From tracks to habitats, we’ll dive into the world of animals near and far. Children will become curious investigators of how creatures live, move, and adapt.
4/1/26 – Elements of the Earth
Air, water, fire, and earth—kids will explore the forces of nature through hands-on activities and outdoor adventures that spark wonder and curiosity.
5/6/26 – TAM Trekkers
Hit the Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) with us! We’ll set out on a kid-friendly hike, discovering plants, wildlife, and the joy of exploring our local trail system.
What to Bring
Please dress your child in warm, waterproof layers from head to toe, and pack extra socks and gloves. Kids will also need snacks and a water bottle. We’ll spend most of our time outdoors, but we do have a spacious indoor space available for warming up if needed. If you need help with gear, let us know—we may be able to assist. Stay tuned for a welcome letter with more details!
