9:00am Campers arrive at hiking location for the day

9:30am Opening Circle: we share a visual schedule of the day ahead

9:45am Snack

10:00am Hike: games and activities along the way

12:00pm Lunch at destination 

12:30pm Reflection time: sit-spot, nature yoga, read-aloud, crafting

12:45pm Hike: head back and include adventurous stops along the way

3:00pm Closing circle: an opportunity to reflect and share about our day’s experiences

3:15pm Arrive back at pick up location

Restrictions

Participants must be 6 years and 11 months to 10 years old when the program starts.

Description

For our third iteration of TAM Trekkers, we’re embarking on our most ambitious journey yet: hiking all 19+ miles of the TAM. Each day, we’ll cover a 3-5 mile through-hike, taking us through forests and fields encircling Middlebury. Do you have a camper who can’t get enough hiking? Has your camper been doing MALT for years, and is looking for a crowning achievement in their MALT experience? If yes, then this camp is for your camper! Hikers of all experience levels are welcome.
